Siemens has received an order for 714 MW worth of wind turbines for wind farms offshore ONE East of England.
Siemens announced Wednesday that receiving an order for 102 MW of its turbines 7, each with a rotor diameter of 154 meters, the marine wind farms developed ONE of East Anglia British East coast. ScottishPower Renewable, a subsidiary of Iberdrola SA, placed the order.

The decision to go with our innovative wind turbines emphasizes the contribution of these units in order to reduce the costs of offshore wind power. “
ONE of East Anglia developed 45 miles off the coast of British East, and covers an area of about 300 square kilometers.
The news comes just two days after Siemens also won a contract for a 385 MW offshore wind farm Arkona being developed by Statoil and E.ON German Baltic Sea.
